We specialise in fresh-baked Continental breads, pâtisserie, pastries, and cakes; all made with as many local ingredients as possible, including garden fruits and wild yeast sourdough starters.
We barter bread and cakes for North Leeds garden fruit, herbs, eggs, and other ingredients. Get in touch to join our innovative project.
You can pick up fresh bread, croissants, bagels, pastries and much more from the kitchen door on Saturday mornings, 9am-1pm. Please come to the patio doors at the rear.
Saturday 18th November is Baguette Week at the Bakehouse. Five different kinds of baguette (de Tradition, La Semaine, Lemon & Rosemary, Sourdough Twist, & Khorosan Wholemeal). Danenut of the Week is Chocolate-Hazelnut. Mini-Panettone return as do Maritozzi buns.
