Welcome to the Roundhay Bakehouse, North Leeds' first kitchen door bakery; part of a wider movement of micro-artisan bakeries springing up across the UK. We specialise in fresh-baked sourdough breads, pâtisserie, and other goodies. All are made with as many local ingredients as possible, including garden fruits and wild yeast. We barter bread and cakes for garden fruit, herbs, eggs or other useful ingredients.

 

You can pick up fresh bread & Continental pastries from the kitchen door every Saturday morning, 9am-1pm. Please come to the patio doors at the rear.

 

The apple harvest is in at the Bakehouse so Chaussons aux Pommes return this Sat. Oct. 21st. High Wall & Kalamata Olive sourdoughs return too, plus Confit Lemon & Rosemary Baguettes. Danenut of the Week is Toffee Apple Caramel. There will be Vanilla Slices.

 

And you can support us by signing this petition against the supermarkets & bakery chains passing-off fake craft sourdoughs.
