Welcome to the Roundhay Bakehouse, North Leeds' first kitchen door bakery; part of a wider movement of micro-artisan bakeries springing up across the UK. We specialise in fresh-baked sourdough breads, pâtisserie, and other goodies. All are made with as many local ingredients as possible, including garden fruits and wild yeast. We barter bread and cakes for garden fruit, herbs, eggs or other useful ingredients.
You can pick up fresh bread & Continental pastries from the kitchen door every Saturday morning, 9am-1pm. Please come to the patio doors at the rear.
It sold out so fast, we're doing the Norwegian Emmer sourdough again this Sat Jan 20th. Oak-Smoked Granary returns too. Danenut of the Week will be Cherry. And there will be lots more warm Dutch doughnuts (Olie Bollen).
