Welcome to the Roundhay Bakehouse, North Leeds' first kitchen door bakery; part of a wider movement of micro-artisan bakeries springing up across the UK. We specialise in fresh-baked sourdough breads, pâtisserie, and other goodies. All are made with as many local ingredients as possible, including garden fruits and wild yeast. We barter bread and cakes for garden fruit, herbs, eggs or other useful ingredients.
You can pick up fresh bread & Continental pastries from the kitchen door every Saturday morning, 9am-1pm. Please come to the patio doors at the rear.
Saturday 18th November is Baguette Week at the Bakehouse. Five different kinds of baguette (de Tradition, La Semaine, Lemon & Rosemary, Sourdough Twist, & Khorosan Wholemeal). Danenut of the Week is Chocolate-Hazelnut. Mini-Panettone return as do Maritozzi buns.
